Division of Neuropsychology Early Career Award 2026
Brainworx sends a huge congratulations to Debra Daly, the winner of this year’s, The Psychological Society of Ireland Division of Neuropsychology Early Career Award 2026.
Debra has just completed her MA in Applied Psychology (Mental Health) at University College Cork. Debra’s presentation was on Cognitive Reserve and Domain–Specific Cognitive Performance in Multiple Sclerosis: The Role of Fatigue, Depression and Disability.
We would also like to wish a huge congratulations to Philip O’Donnell, who received the Highly Commended Award for his presentation on Investigating EEG resting state alpha dynamics of hallucination proneness: the link between frequent transitions and auditory daydreaming.
The day also provided presentations from Dr. Jacqueline Fitzgerald, Dr. Nick Kidd and Dr. Paul Hogan, they shared insights into how specialist assessment can inform diagnosis and formulation, treatment and rehabilitation, and meaningful interventions across a range of clinical contexts.
This event is a wonderful opportunity for any budding Neuropsychologist to show case their research and hard work.
